GPPS is a major player in in-situ nitrogen gas generation to support operational and maintenance activities in the oil and gas industries at various work locations, including onshore, swamp, offshore and deep-water offshore environments. This operation is performed using GPPS -owned, brand new state-of-the-art nitrogen generation units or membranes.

Over the years, GPPS has supported various oil and gas companies in major maintenance shutdowns, generating nitrogen gas for facility inerting, nitrogen blanketing, nitrogen purging to ensure risk free maintenance activities. GPPS has also offered nitrogen generation support to major EPC contractors in topside and pipeline pre-commissioning services.

In-situ nitrogen generation offers immense advantages in terms of cost savings, especially large quantities of nitrogen gas are required, where space is an issue, like the offshore platform or vessel deck, and where logistics for transportation of liquid nitrogen is difficult or costly.
