Global Process and Pipeline Services Limited is currently owned by the management staff and few strategic investors who include eminent personalities capable of providing leadership to the group at the highest levels of policy making. External non-executive directors were appointed to improve the quality of the board.
Professor S. J. S. Cookey OFR, KSC, PHD.(London)
An astute Administrator and renowned historian, he hails from the Niger Delta region. He is a retired Professor of History and a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt. He was a Pro Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. A former Chairman of the Department of Afro-American Studies, State University of New-York, Binghamton USA (1972-74) and the Department of African Studies, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey USA(1974-80), and member UNDP-GEF (Global Environmental Facility) Mission to Kenya, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Mali. He is an Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (OFR).
Engr. Abel Usiagwu
Engr. Abel Usiagwu is a 1991 graduate of Mechanical Engineering University of Benin. He has over 23 years oil field experience in Cementing , Stimulation, Sand Control and Fracturing.
He has an extensive on the job training during his career with Shell, Halliburton, Western Atlas and BJ Services on Equipment Maintenance, Engineering, Sales and Leadership/Management in Nigeria, United Kingdom and America where he worked as an associate Engineer.
He joined BJ Services as an Engineer trainee and rose to the rank of Station/Operations manager before resigning his appointment to join Global Process and Pipeline Services Limited as Director of Operations. He is a member of the following professional bodies: Council for the Regulation of Engineering (Practice) in Nigeria (COREN) , Nigeria Society of Engineer (NSE) and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Chamberlain Duruike
Engr. Chamberlain Duruike is a visionary, versatile, dynamic and holistic leader with a stellar track record of over twenty (20) years’ experience spread over the Pharmaceutical, Power and mainly Oil & Gas industries; cutting across operations, engineering, strategic leadership, business development, sales, marketing and strategic planning; with attendant results of increasing market share, robust financial performance. Built into his leadership background is the ability to direct value proposition for development and new partnerships; reaching corporate revenue goals by conceptualizing and driving concept-to-reality stages for profitable new opportunities.
Having worked for leading multinational companies, he has a robust international experience and business operating principles built on international standards and best practice; his greatest strength matches those most essential to consistent growth and success in ensuring company growth. A career-long history of consistently increasing productivity and reducing costs.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering); a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) – USA; attended the University of Cambridge’s Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) – UK; several executive leadership programs with the Mays Business School of Texas A&M University – USA; a graduate of Halliburton’s prestigious President’s Leadership Excellence Program (PLEP); numerous international business leadership trainings; a registered engineer with the Council for the regulation of engineering in Nigeria (COREN); a certified engineer with the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE).
Engr. Obidike N. Uzu
Engr. Obi Uzu has more than 25 year’s oil field experience in Drilling Operation ( Sedco Forex), Production Technology (SPDC) and Process and Pipeline Services (B.J Services) and supervised many successfully projects in Nigeria, America and UK. He retired from BJ Services in 2009 to setup the Global Process and Pipeline Services where he is presently the Managing Director. He holds a masters degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Port-Harcourt. And had extensive on-the-job training in Field Services, Sales, Leadership and Business Development around the world. He is on the board of trustee of Professional Pipeline Association of Nigeria (PLAN) and a founding member of The Professional Institute of Pipeline Engineers. He is a registered Engineer by COREN and a member SPE and NSE. He is also an alumni of both Harvard Business School and Cambridge Judge Business School.
Engr. Chris Onyemaizu
Chris attended the University of Port Harcourt, where he bagged the Bachelor Degree (B.Eng.) in Petroleum Engineering in 1993. He joined EnerNational Nigeria Limited after the completion of his National Youth Service corps with the Directorate of Petroleum Resources ( DPR ) a subsidiary of NNPC. He later moved to BJ Services Company where he worked for 12 years, in various capacities, ranging from Field Engineer, Project Engineer/Coordinator, District Engineer and Sales Manager. He later moved again to Oilserv Limited, a highly rated indigenous pipeline construction company as the Business Development Manager.
He has acquired over 21 years of Experience in Oil and Gas Industry operations and has attended several courses and trainings both within and outside Nigeria. He has worked in Congo, Angola and Cameroon as BJ Engineer. Currently, Chris is the Executive Director, Engineering and Business Development with Global Process and Pipeline Services Limited.
Chris is a Certified Petroleum Engineer by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He equally belongs to the following professional bodies, namely: Corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Member of Society of Petroleum Engineers, Member of the Professional Institute of Pipeline Engineers, UK. He is a fellow of The Institute of Credit Administration (ICA), also an alumni of both Harvard Business School and Cambridge.
