Robotics Cleaning Technology

GPPS recognizes the continued requirement from the oil and gas producing companies to eliminate human exposure to hazardous environments during facility maintenance, upgrade or regulatory required activities on oil and gas production facilities to ensure personnel safety. Such production facilities include crude storage tanks in tank farms, and offshore facility storage tanks.

To meet this key requirement, GPPS has deployed LOMBRICO S EX-0 Certified Robot that performs controlled Tank Entry, High Pressure Water jetting to dislodge and fluidize any sludge (where necessary), gather the fluidized sludge within the tank and evacuate them into an external sludge containment such as certified waste skips for 3rd party transportation to treatment and disposal. All activities of the robot are controlled remotely from the tank in a 10ft containerized control unit. No personnel entry into the tank and no direct personnel contact with the sludge.

This technology is fast, efficient and eliminates personnel entry and contact with the hazardous environment inside the tank, while all ensuring environmental protection.
